Indian Head Massage Cardiff
Indian Head Massage is an effective therapy which promotes feelings of well-being and melts away tension in the body. It can be carried out seated in a chair, fully dressed, with or without massage oils. Massage is used not only on head, scalp, face and neck and shoulders but also on upper back, arms, hands and fingers, thus promoting relaxation and healing to those areas. It not only promotes hair growth but also provides relief from aches and pains. It is renowned for relieving symptoms of stress.
The effect of Indian Head Massage can last up to a week and so regular massage can bring about a sense of balance to the body and mind and restore flagging stamina.
There are many benefits to this therapy, including:
- Relaxation
- Alleviating depression
- Increasing concentration and alertness
- Revitalises the whole body
- Improves joint movement in shoulders, arms and hands
- Aids sleep pattern
- Relief from headaches, migraine, eye strain, sinusitis and jaw ache
Initially, tiredness may be experienced after the Indian Head Massage due to release of toxins that flood the system and also to the initiation of healing energies, which require the body to rest in order to heal.
Margaret trained and obtained her Diploma in Indian Head Massage with the IIHHT in 2002.
Margaret has given talks to corporate groups and to the private sector in natural therapies, including Indian Head Massage. She treats a gentle, modified Indian Head Massage, along with other therapies, to clients with cancer for pain relief and general relaxation and healing which this holistic treatment affords. Indian Head Massage is also helpful in complementing other treatments for a natural means to “whole” health.
For the best benefits and successful outcome, it is recommended to have four weekly treatments, then a series of fortnightly treatments, culminating in regular monthly appointments.
Margaret holds Clinic sessions on Wednesday afternoons/evening.
