Mindfulness Coaching and Mentoring

Mindfulness: learning to live in the moment

Mindfulness is the practice of bringing one’s full attention to the present moment; observing thoughts, feelings and actions without judgement. Developing mindfulness involves learning the techniques of meditation, awareness of the breath and physical relaxation.

‘The Happiness Effect’

Neuroscientific research over the past decade has shown that practising meditation increases the activity in the area of the brain associated with positive emotions. Meditators feel happier! There are many of benefits to developing a regular mindfulness and meditation practice including:

Why mindfulness coaching?

Coaching is personalised. Working one-to-one, you are able to focus on your goals, at a pace and time that suits you. You will be supported in deepening your meditation and bringing the skills and strategies of mindfulness into your day-to-day life. Coaching is suitable for people who are new to meditation.

What’s mindfulness mentoring?

Mentoring is suitable for people who already have a meditation practice and would like the opportunity to reflect on and deepen their practice. You may well have attended a meditation group or course but would like the support and challenge of working one-to-one.
